well, i gots me some big exams coming up, starting on the
1st of feb and running onto the 12th (although i
don't take music, which will probs be the last exam
so i could be done earlier than that but i haven't
gotten the timetable yet so i don't know). i've
got loads of study to do for them, even if it doesn't
matter if i fail because in one way they're only the
mocks and my main aim is just to do well in the
junior cert (if you don't know, the jc is like a-levels
in england or SATs in the usa. i'm sitting mine in
june but the "mock" exams are monday week.
they prepare irish students for the real jc.)
basically, my plan is to still try and get on to at
least check up on the site and that, but replies
will be slow (though i'll do my best to keep 'em
coming). if you don't see me at all between the
1st and the 12th, at least you know why, and
because i'll still be on i may update this before
the exams start. in essence, this isn't a proper
absence 'cause i'll still be floating about, but it's
basically to explain any lack of proper activity.
if anybody's actually bothered to know more..
comparison of my year to other countries.
more info on the jc.
cleo's taking all higher level subjects and idk
what bull is on there about people taking 9
subjects for the jc, because i've never met
anyone taking less than 11 unless they're
exempt from irish (which happens in the
case of foreign national or dyslexic students,
the lucky bastards. xD) i've got english, maths,
irish, german, business, home ec, science, cspe,
religion, history and geography, so that =
lots and lots of studying because there's
2 papers in a good few of those subjects. xD
but yeah. there's a little bit more about cleo
for you guys to ponder. xD see ye around! :)
p.s. i'm not sure if ever mentioned this to you
lot before but yeahh, i'm irish. :) and you love
me so much more for it now, don't you? ;)
