oliver here, or ollie, as he likes to be called, has been privileged for most of his life. his father was a lord and his mother was the daughter of…well, someone wealthy. so yeah, he’s had a pretty good life. but he never had much self esteem, and when he went into secondary school, he was bullied pretty badly. so he stopped eating, to ‘better himself’. so yeah, it got really bad and he was sent here, like, six years ago. it got so bad he was diagnosed with heart problems, but after three years in this place he finally was allowed out, cured. oliver wanted to be a doctor, but he wasn’t smart enough to pass any exams, so his dad got him a job back at the asylum, the next best thing. you can read more about him in his app

oliver is kind of a complete epicfail of a doctor. he’s incredibly easily manipulated, he lets people walk all over him, he doesn’t know how to control the patients and all the staff laugh at him because of how shit he is at his job. he’s a good person, though, and would never purposely harm someone or be unreasonably unkind to them. he’s clumsy and awkward and stumbles over his words sometimes, but he is a good friend and someone you can rely on.

so yeah, he needs everything and anything. friends, lovers, enemies. hit him up with anything you think of. (:

OLIVER AND MILO

So little Milo is autistic and has synesthesia. Check out his profile for a complete explanation of what that is. He does the head banging, hand flapping things sometimes that autistic kids do and when he's in an episode he's hard to control. When he's calm though he is as sweet as honey. He's kind and adorable and very caring.

I think Milo would take a real shine to Oliver. Oliver would be nice to watch, because Milo does a lot of people watching. He's clumsy and interesting and such and Milo would like to just watch him. I think that Oliver could actually be the person to get Milo out of his shell a little bit, functioning a little bit more like normal, you know. Because Oliver would be sweet to him, and explain normalcy to him and Milo could implement what Oliver taught him.

Past that because Milo gets attached to people forcefully and easily, I think he'd get a real crush on Oliver, hard core crush. Which would be a problem because Oliver is a doctor and Milo is a patient... but yeah... so let me know what you think. We can pay with these ideas.

REMMY AND OLIVER

I don't really have much ideas for these two. Remmy (or Samael as he likes to be called) is delusional and thinks he is the reincarnation of Lucifer before he fell from grace. He thinks it's his duty to protect those who need it.

So I think he would really try to protect Oliver and take vengeance on those who mess with him, but in a guardian angel kind of way, so subtly. He wouldn't necessarily take credit for what he did either, but yeah... so that's all I have for these two.

that sounds goood. (: oliver would probably be all awkward and not realise that milo has a crush on him and lead him on by accident. but idk, he'd probably think of milo as a sort of little brother, cause he's so much younger than him. but anyways, we should def thread.

so yeah, oliver would probably try to pick remmy's brain, trying to figure out why he thinks like he does, with little to no success, cause he's a failboat. but he'd probably think remmy was sweet for trying to look after him. (:

My my my what have we here... a doctor, how fun *rolls eyes* So I am here to offer my two little test subjects for your fun if you want.

First off is Jack. Jack is 23, very obnoxious and likes to torment people. Screams bring a smile to his face but so does fear. He is sarcastic and slightly rude. He doesn't like authority figures and has a reply for EVERYTHING.

Then there's Christianne, she's sixteen and a suicidal teen with know-it-all look at me tendencies. She craves attention at all times and gets a little condescending when no one pays any mind to it. With six suicide attempts under her belt she really needs the therapy. App HERE < your call.

oliver would probably be totally lost with him. he'd most likely try to help him but then just get seriously tormented by him. he's pretty easily scared and quite naive, so maybe jack could have a lot of fun messing with him?

oliver would probably give her all the attention she wants. most likely because he'd be worried she'd try to kill herself again, but also cause he cares about her too.

Jack and Oliver;; If Jack smells fear he'll probably up it up a notch just to watch Oliver squirm, sadistic little bastard that he is.

Christianne and Oliver;; well she likes that, the attention and she's a bit hard on herself at times so him being nice might help and it be something she's really not used to,so it ma come as a surprise to the little girl.

I'd say keep the ideas...

JESSICA ANNE REXING you can just call her Jess, or Jesse, or maybe even Rex. She's eighteen years old. Don't expect her to get to attatched to you. In fact, she won't let you near her. She's paranoid to say the least. She's pretty sure everyone's out to get her, so she hurts them before they can hurt her. Of course, nobody is really trying to hurt her, so she hurts innocent people. This landed her in the basement of the Alkaline Asylum. Jess could potentially get very violent and physical if she's egged on. She likes revenge to say the least.

JESSE + OLIVER = POSSIBLEH so with jessica, she'd be wary to trust him, or even let her near him. that's how she is with all of the doctors though. she might let him closer than most others, due to him being seemingly nicer than all of the others. however, that'd also make her extra cautious and once she sees that he seems nervous (stumbling over his words, etc.) she might trust him just a tiny, tiny bit.

LEAH MAY PARKER you can just call her Leah, or Parker. She's sixteen years old. In simple words, Leah's a sweetheart. She's really nice and outgoing, and pretty damn patient. It doesn't take a lot to annoy her, but she has so much patience that the annoying things don't annoy her. She has a little OCD going on, so unless things are physically annoying - like a tilted photo, not straight lines, etc. she can be patient and work to get past those things. Leah also has schizophrenia, and her parents accidentally let it slip that she's a bit of a pyromaniac. She's a little easy to take advantage of though.

LEAH + OLVIER = COOPERATION so leah would like oliver because he wasn't like all of the others and he was nice. she'd probably cooperate with him (she usually cooperates anyway), but she'd cooperate more. i can even see them, not hanging out 'cause that'd be weird between a patient and doctor, but like, maybe her coming to him for advice? if not advice, she'd probably be more honest with him about the questions. she doesn't lie to the other doctors, she just doesn't tell them everything, but she'd probably tell him a lot of what he needed to know. he'd be the doctor that she'd request if they needed her opinion to calm her down or something. he'd be useful in that case : D

NICHOLAS ADAM PASCALE you can just call him Nick. He's twenty three years old. He's kind of protective of the patients because his sister is one. So, yeah, he's pretty serious about what he does as a security guard. He doesn't mess around. he's a nice guy though, and needs some buds.

NICK + OLIVER = BROTHERLY so they're like opposite kind of, but they're pretty much the same age - just a year difference. nick would probably try to look out for oliver because he was so easy to manipulate and nick saw that. then they could also just hang out because i think they both could use some staff friends. maybe they could lighten eachother up or something. just hang out. be young adult guys together?

DAVID/OLIVER
soo, dave here is bipolar, but not in the stereotypical depressed
or psychotically angry kind of way (even though he's a bit of both
of those too). instead he's the manically happy, bouncyy type,
with super bouts of hyperactivity and restlessness. he gets bored
easily too and the poor staff of alkaline asylum are therefore his
only continuous stream of entertainment. for this purpose i think
it would be quite suitable to have the obvious situation where oli
tries to be a good little therapist and david just drives him up the
wall. he's got a big interest in people so he'd probably spend his
time asking oli questions about himself; maybe dave finds out
about oli's previous stay in alkaline and bugs him about that? i'm
just throwing out a few ideas here, let me know if they fail.. xD

COLBIE/OLIVER
best frannnddsss? =D wait, right, better give you some info on
colbie first. welllll, he's new and he's probably ten times the
therapist oliver will ever be, but that's ok. xD he's kind of been
brought in on the grounds that alkaline needs some kind
of a good therapist (and that's not a dig at little oli, but with
the mad lot running around here, the docs can't be doing their
jobs right.. xD). stilll, colbie's a nice little limey with rich parents
(so he and oli have that in common!) he's a little odd, with a
few quirks, but (somehow) it makes him better as a therapist
because.. i don't know, he relates to them better or some
thing like that. xD oh, one or two other things; he's divorced
and has a five year old kid, damien, who he usually spends his
time minding any time he's not at work. this means his whole
social life revolves around work, so i definitely think he'd be a
bit dependent on oli as a friend. xD idk, again i'm spitballing.
