SUPERSTAR SHAYNA HEART GOES MISSING
she's loved by many, hated by few. you know her, and you probably sing along to her music when it's on the radio whether you like her songs or not. however, this new year, shayna heart was reported missing.

it's virtually impossible to hate her adorable face and powerful melodies. her full name is shayna charlie heart, but you know her as shayna heart from her chart-topping albums. ever since she was sixteen years old, she's had her music airing on popular television stations like MTV and radio stations around the country. you've seen her perform on award shows, and last year she rocked us into 2009 for the new year. fame hit this young woman quickly, and she deserves everything she's gotten.

this past december, shayna concluded her 'REACT AND RELOAD' tour, which started in ontario, canada, took her through the united states, and around the world to finish in australia. selling out the majority of her shows, it's not hard to realize that this girl took fame by the reigns and took control of it. she co-produced the tour, helped designed the sets, and still does her own hair and make up for the performances. in merely two years, this young woman managed to become a household name. with countless hit singles ranging from heartbroken ballads to something one step away from rock and roll, this girl has an audience aging from seven year old girls to full grown men.

"it's truly a shame," says an anonymous source who is close to heart, "i love her, i love her music, and i just hope she's okay." as tickets for her 2010 tour sold out in a matter of minutes, heart's tour manager announced that the tour was cancelled just a matter of days after the tickets went on sale. the tour manager would not comment on the situation and the heart's family is currently unreachable at this time. however, we have been assured that heart is safe and unharmed.

only three weeks before the tickets for heart's 2010 'MAKE A MESS' tour went on sale, heart's family passed away of a car accident, and the young girl cancelled shows in europe to fly back to her hometown of louisville, kentucky. only close friends and family were admitted to the funerals. sometimes people don't remember that heart is simply an eighteen year old girl. even though she's carrying fame on her shoulders, she is still a kid. "i'm proud of her. she's got a good head on her shoulders. fame hasn't gone to her head. her favorite days are the ones where she can hang out with friends from high school in the morning, do an interview in the afternoon, perform in the evening, and spend hours on end meeting fans," heart's agent, marissa sparks, commented. "she's not afraid to face things head on and she's grateful for the life she's been given. however, she's still learning, still growning, and she still needs time to be a kid." there has yet to be given a solidified reason as to why heart is avoiding the spotlight.

the world's beloved singer, shayna heart, has been confirmed to be on an undefined leave of abscense from the music industry. even though her contract is still intact with her record label, there is no sign of her return any time soon. for the time being, it looks like we will not be hearing any new hit singles from heart.

DIARY ENTRY, DECEMBER THIRTY-FIRST[/color]

dear diary,

i'm leaving tonight for east hampton. daddy's death really took it's toll on me. i thought i could handle it but i haven't wanted to even look at my guitar since i heard the news. i cancelled the last few shows of tour. i know i let my fans down, and the record label and the people who depend on me, but i just couldn't do it. i told my tour manager to cancel the upcoming tour as well. i know i won't be ready. my vocal coach flat out told me that i haven't been able to hit a note correctly since the incident. they told me it was a heart attack. ha, we always told him he ate too many french fries. i can't even think about him without starting to cry. he didn't deserve to go. he was an honest, kind, true man. my mom always told me i got those traits from him. i don't know. he's the one who taught me how to play the guitar. he's the one who put it in my hands when i was twelve. he's been to every show. he's the last person i talk to before i run out on stage. i don't know how to go on without him. he was my inspiration. and now he's gone. it just can't do it. i haven't wanted to get out of bed since they funeral. i'm hoping that the hamptons will keep me safe for a while. my mom and i are renting a nice little house for the next few months until i can pull myself back together. thankfully, the record label isn't pulling my contract. i can't stop thinking about the fans i'm disappointing and the people who aren't going to respect me for leaving. i've sworn everyone to secrecy about where i'm going, but i feel like once i step outside in the hamptons my face is going to pop up in the news feed again. i don't want that. i sound ungrateful. i hate that. i'm so so so grateful for everything i've been given, but i can't handle it. i don't want to be famous anymore. i know that's awfully selfish of me, but i know there are other people out there who are a thousand times more deserving of it than me.

basically, shayna's entire family died in a car accident while she was performing in australia. she blames herself for not being there and pretty much has gone close to insane with guilt. she suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder, but the doctors believe that there is something more to her past that she isn't sharing because of her reaction to everything.
